v Type the word, part of speech (noun, verb, adj., etc.), and definition (as provided in the packet—the italicized portion is a sample sentence. Put the word in bold. You do not need to retype the sample sentence). Reading the word and its definition and then typing it should help you to remember the word and add it to your personal vocabulary.
v Start a new line under the definition. Then, compose a college-level sentence that uses the word and its definition correctly and specifically (use the word in a way that its meaning is clear). You may not use the sentence in the packet or one online, etc.—this is plagiarism and will be treated as such.
v Be sure to number each definition/sentence grouping and put the word in bold (in the definition and sentence).
v Submit your typed definitions and sentences.
Lab Credit: 3-4 (can be worth more or less, depending upon sentence level and quality).
